Real life walks funny,
smells funny,
giggles inappropriately,
gets gas,
pimples,
looses teeth,
gets stung by bees,
and generally is in
the way.

Real life is annoying,
a smart-ass,
a know-it-all,
a dummy,
lucky,
demeaning,
insulting and
often rude.

Real life surprises,
laughs heartily,
smiles at children,
tickles the elderly,
makes smores,
dances,
has great sex,
and loves intensely.

Real life is full of callouses,
of sore spots,
aches,
pains,
illnesses,
stubbed toes,
skinned knees,
and scars.

Real life prays
and preys,
moans,
whines,
cries,
screams,
cowers,
hugs and dies.

Real life is full.
Real life is short.
Real life is what's
happening right now
and there's no changing it.
